Hi family –
This article has been really helpful for us in casting a vision for church planting. We actually listened to it in “sermon form” first. We’d love if you could read through it to get a better feel for what we’ll be doing in the coming months. We will be following Tim Keller’s model for church planting and are going through his church planting manual.
Keep praying for us, and for the Fremont community! It definitely seems as if the Lord is “going before” in so many ways and preparing the way for this new church to be built…and the confirmation keeps coming. It’s so exciting and we want all of you to feel a part of it all with us. We’ll be having our first meeting next Sunday night with anyone who is wanting to be a part of the core launch team. Please pray that God will be glorified, and that we will be given much wisdom and discernment, and that the joy of the Lord would be our strength!
