Key question: Are the blessings of the covenant conditional or unconditional? YES!
In Jesus’ perfect life he earns the blessings of the covenant by keeping perfectly ALL it’s conditions. In Jesus’ death, he takes the curses of the covenant that I deserved for breaking its conditions.
Therefore, as a Christ follower, all the blessings of the covenant are unconditional to me!!! This is what Paul says in Galatians when Jesus was made a curse by becoming a curse for me by hanging on a tree that the promises to Abraham might be fulfilled.

The work Jesus did in fulfillment of scripture (“for the scripture cannot be broken”) is remarkable and with an eternal reach for all humanity. It is far more superior and enriching to all who will believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. For this reason its dimension and scope is wider and gratifying compared to old covenant dispensation making our receiving of God’s blessing Christ based and not works based. I bless the Name of the Lord for this indescribable gift!
